This one-day course delivers all the necessary knowledge and steps to successfully diagnose and provide a treatment plan, as well as develops the surgical skills to ensure outcome success. The workshop composes of didactic scientific lectures, clinical cases discussion as well as additional hands-on experience in performing the crown lengthening procedure with different techniques on customized dental models.

3.      List the indications and contraindications of crown lengthening.

4.      Utilize the digital dentistry in planning of crown lengthening.

5.      Decide which surgical technique to apply in relation to the altered passive eruption diagnosis.

6.      Demonstrate and apply the different surgical technique of esthetic and restorative-driven crown lengthening.

7.      Acquire the competence and ability to perform surgical crown lengthening.

The workshop composes of clinical cases discussion and hands-on experience. The participant will train on cases selection and diagnosis, treatment planning, and choosing the suitable surgical technique. The hands-on will cover the four possible clinical scenarios of crown lengthening procedure and of will be performed on customized dental models designed specifically for this workshop. The participant well learn about the instruments and devices used in crown lengthening surgery. The surgical procedures include Incision designs, full/split thickness flap reflection, osseous reduction techniques, apically repositioned flap, flapless crown lengthening, and suturing techniques.
